"A Fool For Every Season " is Eugene Ruffolo's debut CD, released on Rounder-owned CRS label in fall of 1999. The CD recieved wide critical acclaim in both the United States and Europe, being hailed as a "veritable jewel of folk pop" by Germany's "Audio" Magazine. The Cd is produced by Ruffolo himself-along with famed producer Ben Wisch, who gained noteriety from his sensitive treatment of artists such as Marc Cohn, Catie Curtis, Patty larkin,and Cheryl Wheeler, to name a few. John Leventhal stepped in to produce the title track, and plays on several other cuts.
