Trans Pacific Written over Spring/Summer 2011, Trans Pacific is Kevin Lux's 21st album. This music is directly influenced by my trips to Asia over recent years. Features a 3 part intro, is an exposure to the new 2011 sound of Kevin Lux. Club.Lux is the anthem of the Club.Lux.Studio where all this music was created and tested. The title track, "Trans Pacific" begins the journey, depicting the long mind numbing flights from North America to Asia. Then evolution to the sheer excitement and anticipation of soon arriving. The bulk of the album takes cues from Thailand, my most recent influence on my music. Chang, is a song simply about the Elephant. A wonderful creature in Thailand. Arun and Sukhumvit are directly influenced by locations in Bangkok, Thailand. The album ends with Vista, a perfect closing piece to a wonderful audio voyage around the world.
