I was in love with this funny little woman who didn't love herself, therefore, she couldn't love me or anyone else. The more I gave the less I received. She had never seen love until me and never having love she didn't know what to do with it. After we broke up and began dating I noticed she was not the only one out there who had never experienced true agape love. I felt that I had to do something, say something to wake people up. So I decided I couldn't help but write down our collective experiences. We've all known people who had great partners and instead of appreciating their relationship they cheated, took the other person for granted, and basically threw away a good thing/person. While we on lookers wished we had what they just trashed. In this society we are taught that "the fool" is the person who freely gives love and therefore, they deserve to get burned for putting themselves out there. In reality, "the fool" is the person who doesn't appreciate the love he or she has. Love is not a weakness, the ability to love is a strength and a blessing. Everyone can't give love nor is everyone capable of receiving love. Some people have no idea what love even looks or feels like. If you are blessed to have someone who loves you, keep them, cherish them, and love them back.
