I performed with the US Navy Band's country/bluegrass group Country Current for 21 years, stationed in Washington, DC. In 2008 I retired and formed Wayne Taylor and Appaloosa. The group has performed extensively in the US, and performed in Canada, Norway, Scotland and Holland. When I decided to record a Christmas CD, I called on some of my Navy comrades, present band members, and a few of my favorite musicians. The musicians are: Wayne Taylor - vocal/guitar, Emory Lester - mandola/mandolin, Christopher Sexton - viola, Pat White - fiddle, Keith Arneson - banjo, Kene Hyatt - bass, Missy Armstrong - vocal, Don Rigsby - vocal. The tunes are seasonal favorites using a touch of bluegrass, country and other influences to create a unique collection of Holiday classics. I hope you will enjoy my first Christmas CD.
