Born in Menorca (Spain) 26 years ago, Fran Von Vie has developed his musical path in aconstant search for new sounds and structures, not believing in genres or labels but on the basic principle that music should be conceived and arise from the heart in order to be felt as such.   Von Vie inherits his taste for music from his family , when he was 14 years old he was already experimenting with and old PC 486. It was around that time when he came across a VHS tape from the Turntabilism World Cup (DMC), this tape would leave hard to erase footprint on Fran’s influence, inspiring him to become a regular producer of downtempo and hip-hop, and collaborating with several artists from the international scene.   In the following years, his evolution and search for a more personal sound would take his production skills to a more club oriented aproach. As a result, his multiple releases have gotten the support of some of the world’s most renowned labels being requested top lay in Moscow, Amsterdam, etc… In 2011 he is chosen to take part at the Burn Studios Hacienda Bootcamp in Ibiza, where he would receive master classes from people such as Sasha, Richie Hawtin or Cassius.   With a brilliant future ahead of him, Fran Von Vie intends to proof on a regular basis both his versatility and skills to take his act to all the major arenas and different audiences in the international clubbing scene. Where we will be able to get a feel of his latest influences taken from artists like Richie Hawtin, Carl Craig, Sasha and Hernán Cattáneo.
