Devarrow is Graham Ereaux, a Moncton native who now resides in Sackville, New Brunswick. After a long road of writing and recording, Devarrow released his first album, The Coast, The Cottage. The coast and the cottage are indeed a huge influence in Devarrow’s music, drawing from eery, fog-induced trances and wind-weathered beaches to stovetop tea and early morning fires. Devarrow’s musical arrangements often “recall a more stripped-down Fleet Foxes, aged finely along the coasts and cottages of the Maritimes” states Noisography. With Devarrow’s first album release at age 19, and most of the album’s tracks being written when he was even younger, Devarrow is still a youthful apple on an old-aged tree. Now 20 and with a couple more shows under his belt, Devarrow is keen to spread his coastal gospel to eager ears around Canada.
