Halpern writes that these pieces represent those "'magic moments' that occur at least once while recording each album...when the room fills with a luminous light...when time seems to stand still." Also appearing on the album are harpist Georgia Kelly, from the Ancient Echoes album, and Diana Allen on the vocals to a new piece, "Angels on High."
