Anlou Music was created as a final year universtiy project using a battered CD that owner, Richie Franklin, found in his CD wallet after a gig in Manchester. Vrije Staat had handed him a disc of 3 tracks - including Departures. Depatures kicked off the label with a showcase on ASOT - support from the big man himself, Armin Van Buuren The key aspect of Anlou Music is the opportunity for relatively unknown or unreleased artists to have a platform to showcase their sound.
