British singer Janine Hazel Inglis who has settled in Spain, introduces her first solo album. The prodution of the album was placed in the capable hands of Sace 2, undoubtedly one of the leading figures throughout europe in perfecting the electrofunk sound. Five years of work have gone into the completion of this album, and, as should be expected from any great album, maximum attention to detail has been a priority throughout. The obvious idea behind the albums production was to create an authentic retro sound, where the lead Juno Synthesizer style and syncopated bass lines develop around the potent and powerful rhythmic patterns of the Oberheim DMX and Roland TR-808 Drum Machines. This creates a futuristic electro vibe, whilst maintaining a markedly funk "Street" sound. Add a good dose of Vocoder and without doubt we are reminded of the sound that dominated the clubs of New York between 82 and 85.
