East Forest is a unique musical project developed by Portland Oregon based artist Trevor Oswalt that combines ethereal melodic soundscapes with original field recordings Deftly utilizing traditional and contemporary shamanic techniques (such as "528 Love Tuning") the music is designed as 'technology' to help facilitate an inner journey and help each of us discover a sense of self through introspection. "port Landers" was recorded and created completely live in Portland Oregon in June 2011 for a private audience. This sound healing performance held the intention to encourage a meditative and trance inducing experience. Running time 56 minutes of continuous flow. East Forest travels widely performing both as a sound healer and musical performer. He has collaborated with the likes of Elena Brower (of yoga with 10,000 people in Central Park lore) and Deepak Chopra on the project "Leela" the ground breaking mind-body video game for which East Forest composed music and also served as a content consultant and spiritual adviser. East Forest is a gift and a gesture in the spirit of cooperation for the benefit of the human experience.
