Growing up in St. Louis, I developed a passion for music at an early age. Starting out with clarinet and moving to organ I displayed a gift for theory. Next steeping myself in the complexities of chord progressions and rhythms from the likes of Miles Davis, Chic Corea, Herbie Hancock, George Duke, and Oscar Peterson. Mr. Hancock's and Mr.Duke's combination of classic Jazz and modern synthesizers forged my growth as a keyboard artist. In those earlier days I went on to play with a number of Rock and Roll bands and a"Return to Forever" knock off ensemble we named Alexis. After a 25 year career in the engineering and construction industryI took a deep dive into the world of audio production and opened T Beats Studios where this album was recorded. On this program I am honored to be joined by my childhood friend and fellow musician, Craig Florez. Craig brought his talents as music director , producer, and virtuoso guitarist to bring these songs to life.
