Bill Wells was raised in the Southwestern part of Virginia, and grew up with Traditional and Bluegrass and Blues and gospel type of music. Son of a Baptist minister who sang in most churches in three counties in the part of Virginia that his father preached in. Has been leader of his own band since 1971 and traveled extensively throughout the midwest and south. This is his fourth recording.
