Take This Snow and Shovel It
Winchester/Perry is the husband-and-wife musical duo of Christine Winchester and David C. Perry. They write and perform their own original material – occasionally sprinkling in their interpreatations of better-known folk/pop cover tunes – accompanying themselves with guitar and keyboards, plus harmonica, recorder, and various percussion instruments. Their songs feature a refreshing range of tempo and tone, from the sublime (usually Christine's contributions) to the ridiculous (generally from David.) Airy section of Philadelphia. They both went on to become repeat winners of the Folk Factory’s People’s Choice Award – and each other’s personal choice as marriage partners and musical partners in the duo Winchester/Perry. Their very first paid gig was for a Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebration in Philadelphia. Over the years
