Ghana & Nigeria’s first-born child Stino, also known as “the chosen one” has established himself as an artist and a force to be reckoned with in the UK Afropop and Afrobeat genre. Stino quickly caught the attention of well-known Ghanaian producer Mix Masta Garzy. “Mix Masta Garzy” as he is commonly referred to on songs he has produced has worked with established Afrobeat sensations such as Burna boy, AKA, Stonebwoy, Fuse ODG, Iyanya, R2Bees, Terry G, Patoranking, D-Cryme, Stylo G, Castro, Mista Silva and many more. Stino has maintained a strong and steady work ethic since his arrival on the Afrobeat scene and has created a diverse compilation of songs and videos such as his smash hit Shake Your Body featuring Vibe Squad. Stino, birth name Isaac Codjoe was born in Accra, Ghana to parents who are of Ghanaian and Nigerian heritage. When Isaac was 11 years old, he moved to Germany and later settled in London, England where his started his journey into music. From an early age, Isaac always had a keen interest in music and can play the piano, guitar and bass guitar. In 2013 during his second year at University, he decided to pursue a career in Afrobeat/AfroPop with the help of Masta Garzy and close companions. Throughout the years, Stino has sustained a strong radio presence in many countries. Most recently, Stino has been aired on radio stations such as Choice FM (Capital Xtra) presented by Dj Abrantee, Ontop FM by DJ Selecta Maestro and Dboy, Represent radio by DJ AfroB and Radio Stadt by DJ Eppz in Belgium. Stino has received reviews from World of Africa.tv as best newcomer of 2013, Afrobeat 360 rated Stino 4 stars for “shake your body (Fire)” video, mentioned in African music magazine (Afrimma) and many more appearance on popular blogs and websites around the world. Stino has performed at reputable places such as the 02 arena and different annual Ghana independence at different locations around London along with various artists such as Castro, Bisa Kdei, Mista Silva and Fuse ODG. Stino has also collaborated with artists such as Vibe Squad, Mista Silva, 4x4 and more. Stino’s video to Desire won Video of the Week over Banky W, Ayo Jay, Olamide and Keziah on AfroWorldWide.com after being out for a week. The Video to Desire has over 120,000 views on YouTube. The song Desire was produced by his official producer Mix Masta Garzy and the video was directed by Obi Tenner of SnowPix Media based in London. All the clothing for the shoot was designed and styled by Tribal Twist. In this song, Stino depicting the shift in perceptions of his peers and the change in the demeanour of females in the wake of his recently found success and most importantly, staying humble and true to himself throughout his journey to stardom.
