This album is a project that took over 6 years to complete. Personal setbacks, lack of funds and time, family issues and discouragment not only contributed but also shaped the overall theme of these 15 songs--that life can knock you down(alot)but with God's help(alot)and tenacious determination you can overcome the obstacles, failures and seemingly impossible odds to succeed at leaving a good "echo" pattern of a life that will help and inspire others. Starting with "Building A Legacy" and ending with "What's Right For Me", the influence of Brian Wilson's musical legacy is very apparent. The vocal harmonies and lush instrumentation are very similar to the Beach Boy's sound of the late 60's and early 70's. I loved that sound, and I felt that it could be used not only as an enjoyable listen but,with a Christian message, as a tool to help and inspire others to carry on when life deals some hard blows.
