Unattended Baggage
Edgy's new album of songs entitled Unattended Baggage is a sort of mixture between unattended luggage and emotional baggage. So, imagine an album of songs that you thought was going to be recorded by Dusty Springfield only to find Sandie Shaw booked in for the session, and you'll get an idea of the starting point of the album. Then, think of a raw sound with pretty much live performances (give or take the odd overdub here or there) and then you'll get the sound we were looking for. And finally, sit back in a darkened room in your most comfy chair with your best headphones on and enjoy the emotional roller coaster ride that is Unattended Baggage. On vocals doing her Dusty meets Sandie (with a bit of Kirsty, Debbie and Dolly thrown in) is Alison Kirwan. Lead guitar comes mainly from Jeff Gay (his parting gift to the band) with Eddie Dyja and sometimes Richard Holford providing other guitar sounds. Richard on bass and Pot Blawat on drums make up the line-up. Eddie wrote all the songs and Richard produced it
