Lil'D Da One is definitely one of a kind with a style, flow, and voice that is very versatile and unlike any other. It might be from spending his teenage years living in South Florida with his father, who is from New York and has a strong love for hip-hop, to his early 20s in the military traveling the world which allowed him to come in contact with many different people with different views of music, to moving back to Kansas City, MO where he is originally from and has started to pursue a music career. "Exercising My Excellence” is Lil'D Da One’s debut album. He was quoted on his thoughts of his album saying “there is something for everybody on this album”. He refers to himself as the stand up guy. He means what he says, says what he means, and does not stand down from it. He wants to represent the ordinary people, those that get up every morning, and head to work to better their life as well as their loved ones. He does not shy from the fact that he is a regular working Joe, who is trying to further his education, but does have a evil past, and an undeniable belief for the code of the street
