Between his traditional Nashville roots and his latter outsider partnership with Willie Nelson, Waylon, at the end of the '60s, mixed Country, Folk and Pop styles to produce a handful of remarkable albums. This partnership with The Kimberlys from 1969 is a buried treasure. With added strings and arrangements from Bergen White it includes great versions of Joe South's The 'Games People Play' and the gothic Jimmy Webb classic 'MacArthur Park'. 11 tracks. Righteous.
