The upbeat contemporary styling of Dan’s songs delivers easy listening, country and alternative folk with a fresh, clean sound. “It’s About Time” contains a collection of Dan’s favorite original compositions. Since the mid nineties Dan has been writing and recording his own material. In 2000, his first professional recordings appeared on a CD titled, “Canadian Cuts”. This was a collection of music from a variety of up and coming artists in the southern Ontario area. Those songs earned him an appearance on “CFRB am” in Toronto and on “The Peak fm” in Collingwood. Dan continued to write and record, with his focus set on eventually having his own CD. That goal was achieved with the release of “It’s About Time”. All of the songs on the CD are produced by, the very talented, Eric Mahar. An accomplished producer and musician, Eric owns and operates “Mahar Music Studio” in Bolton, Ontario.
