JSWISS is a 20 year-old native New Yorker and current student at UNC-Chapel Hill. He's collabed with acts such as Tab-One and Charlie Smarts of Kooley High and singer Maya Azucena, and shared the stage with acts such as Big K.R.I.T., Actual Proof and jazz/funk keyboard player Nick Rolfe. JSWISS is a young MC who is most influenced by rappers from the early to late 90s. With complex thought out lyrics, JSWISS has learned from listening to hip hop acts such as Nas, A Tribe Called Quest, The Roots and Big Daddy Kane among others.
