Christoph Huntgeburthwas born in 1956, studied in Münster and Basel with W. Michel and H.M. Linde and was called to the Conservatory Bern in 1982 and as a professor to the Berlin University of the arts in 1984. Besides his teaching – also as lecturerat of international master classes – Christoph Huntgeburth is a regular performer in concerts as soloist and with the Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin as solo flautist as well as chamber musician in the centres of music in Europe, the Far East, North and South America.
