West London duo FUNKY SOLDIERS have quickly established themselves with their trademark Productions and Remixes, working with Labels & Artists from MN2S, Hed Kandi, Stereo Sushi, Salted, OM Records, Ministry of Sound, Universal, Barcoda, Just Music, Avex & Mapp Recordings. Ministry of Sound recently commissioned Funky Soldiers to remix Chanel’s “Dance” resulting in a massive club smash that is still getting airplay into 2009. Their sister label Hed Kandi also jumped on board and brought the pair in to remix Holland’s A List DJ Lucien Fort adding their soulful sounds to his track “The Shame”. MN2S first took note of the Funky Soldiers in 2008 and commissioned the pair to remix Justin’s Michael’s “Take Me To The Sky” which dominated the Traxsource chart for several weeks. Their next MN2S productions ‘Thankful’ and ‘Did You Ever’ also topped the charts. Their latest release to land on MN2S 'Silence' features THE VOICE of house music Robert Owens and has support from ATFC, Grant Nelson, David Vendetta, Groove Assassin, Emanuel, Timmy Vegas, Tedd Patterson, Warren Clark and is their 4th release to again hit the top 5 Traxsource singles chart.
